Pedagogy is the driver.....
Student agency refers to learning through activities that are meaningful and relevant to learners, driven by their interests, and often self-initiated with appropriate guidance from teachers. Student agency gives students voice and/or choice in how they learn.
Authentic learning is a style of learning that encourages students to create a tangible, useful product to be shared with their world. They are real life tasks, or simulated tasks that provide the learner with opportunities to connect directly with the real world.
Critical thinking describes forms of learning, thought, and analysis that go beyond the memorization and recall of info/ facts. Critical thinking occurs when students are analyzing, evaluating, interpreting, or synthesizing information and applying creative thought to form an argument, solve a problem, or reach a conclusion.
Creativity & Innovation
Assessment refers to the wide variety of methods or tools that educators and students use to evaluate, measure, and document the academic readiness, learning progress, skill acquisition, or educational needs of students.
Collaboration & Communication
Personalized learning refers to instruction in which the pace of learning and the instructional approach are optimized for the individual needs, interests, aspirations, or cultural backgrounds of each learner.
